General Office Assistant - Shrewsbury
ALcontrol is one of the largest laboratory services business in Europe, with operations in the UK, Benelux, Sweden and Ireland. ALcontrol Food laboratories provide a full range of microbiological and chemical tests, providing fast and efficient analysis to companies within the food industry, and are UKAS group accredited to ISO 17025.
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant to work within the Customer Services team on a part-time temporary basis. The role will be to cover maternity leave for approximately 6 months.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Produce customer reports, and file client paperwork.
• Liaise with the Drivers regarding sending out post
• Sorting and posting out Client results
• Sorting and posting out invoices
• Use of our Franking Machine
• General Filing
Qualifications/ Experience:
Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a background knowledge in Food laboratory work would be advantageous. Basic Computer skills required. A friendly approachable ‘can do’ attitude is essential. Be accurate with sorting work in to envelopes is essential. Neat Handwriting required.
Working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday.
