Seminar Measure Uncertainty - Madrid/Barcelona - October 13th/14th
To keep up with the high added value services that ALcontrol Laboratories aims to provide its customers, new seminars were held in Spain. On October the 13th and the 14th, Barcelona and Madrid held respectively, a seminar on reliability on testing. The seminars started with a brief introduction made by the sales and commercial manager. This was an excellent opportunity to introduce the complete Spanish team, recently enlarged by a new person at customer service.
The subject had been highly demanded by our customers who have been facing increasing demands coming from the accreditation body ENAC. In past months, auditors have been requesting firms to give lower uncertainty values as well as range of works along with the analytical results. Given the scarce knowledge existing on the true meaning of these values and how to interpret them, we considered it was the best timing to organize this seminar. Jaap-Willem Hutter (Business Development Manager ALcontrol) and Emile Croin (QHSE Manager Alcontrol) came from Holland and held an interesting presentation. They shared their knowledge on the subject as well as the experience gathered through many years of laboratory testing and business development.
Companies showed a great interest for the topic, by attending in a great number despite busy weeks at work. More than 50 people coming from existing customers and prospects companies attended the seminars and participated actively during the presentation. They took the opportunity to share the difficulties faced when dealing with the accreditation process for ISO17020.
This seminar strengthens their position and sets up an opportunity to collaborate together in the future by anticipating the challenges to come. The feedback given during and after the seminar encourages the ALcontrol team to keep trying to do our best and act as real partners.
